If you are planning to use clickers in your Interim or Spring 2010 course(s), please make sure you have submitted your request(s) by the following dates
Interim - November 16
Spring - December 15
Once you have submitted your request(s), Teaching & Learning and the Campus Store will use the provided information to:
- order clickers and enrollment codes from eInstruction,
- include clickers as an item on the textbooks/materials listing(s) for your course(s), and
- equip the appropriate classrooms with the CPS software and receivers.

The Hoot is on the move!

A fond farewell to Travis LaFleur

Today marks the day we say good-bye to our colleague and friend, Travis LaFleur. Travis has been accepted at the University of Michigan to a two-year graduate program beginning this fall, focusing on human-computer interaction.
Travis, Thanks for all of your contributions to Teaching & Learning, Calvin Information Technology and Calvin College…We will miss you!

As classes end and exams begin…

Here are some dates to remember:
May 1 - Fall course(s) for next academic year were available to assigned instructors in KnightVision.
May 15 - Student pictures for Summer classes will be available on the class picture generator in KV on the Resources tab.
June 1 - Spring Technology Workshops & LunchBytes begin.
July 1 - Spring courses will be removed from KnightVision.
- Don’t forget to copy your Semester Course(s) back into your Master Course(s) &/or
- Archive your Semester Course(s) &/or your Grade Center(s).
- Note: Even if you don’t archive your course(s), it’s a good idea to archive your Grade Center(s).
July 15 - Student pictures for Fall classes will be available on the class picture generator in KV on the resources tab.
August 1 - Deadline for submitting requests for academic software installation in labs and Smart Classrooms.
August 1 - Fall Technology workshops & LunchBytes begin. Classes & times for August will be available shortly.
