SC09 Education Workshop @ Calvin College

Calvin will be hosting a faculty workshop entitled

Introduction to Computational Thinking

from May 25 to May 30, 2009 . The purpose of this workshop is to expose participants to and inspire them with new techniques, materials, and applications to use computational models in the undergraduate curriculum. This workshop is part of a national series of SC09 education workshops, and will bring together faculty from around the country and across the sciences.

Faculty Python Workshop

ISRI is facilitating a faculty python workshop mid-May through mid-June. This workshop is intended to introduce interested faculty members to the python programming language and to generate discussion about how python can be used to support science education and research at Calvin.
