
Three wings within one residence hall complex. Huizenga is a male hall, Kalsbeek a female hall, and van Reken a divided co-ed wing. Each floor is connected with a common lobby and joined basements.

Lee Huizenga (1881-1945): Served as a missionary and medical doctor in China.

A family deeply committed to missions around the world, including a special connection to China, and to supporting scholarships at Calvin for children of missionaries.
KHvR is the newest residence hall on campus. It was designed with bigger bathrooms and public areas than any of the other halls, though the rooms are the same size. A new wing was added in 2008 and is home to three living-learning communities.
