Travis Street House

"Crossroads"

Travis Street is located on the northeast side of Grand Rapids in the Creston Neighborhood. Creston has long been an ethnically diverse, working class neighborhood. While many neighbors struggle with the challenges of the economic downturn. Creston residents are known to organize when faced with community troubles, and their work results in a strong sense of ownership in the community.

Students who live in the Travis Street house have the opportunity to serve in their neighborhood, aiding at Creston High School and Palmer Elementary.
