Homecoming Center Stage features three Calvin bands on the same bill. Ben and Bruno, Calvin student duo, will open for two alumni bands with new CD releases — both nominees for local station WYCE's 2007 "Jammie Awards."

The David Molinari Band The David Molinari Band
The multi-talented David (lead vocals, acoustic guitars, lap steel, and keyboards) will add musical spice along with bandmates Mark Huizenga (lead guitar, vocals), Mark Lundell (bass, vocals) and Eddie Eicher (drums). Molinari's latest studio effort, Whispering to a Crowd, will be released on January 27, 2007.

The New MidwestThe New Midwest
 The New Midwest centers its musical compass on vocal harmony, rock and roll guitar riffs, and rootsy rhythm. Chris Smit (vocals & harmonica) and Michael VanHouten (drums & vocals) have been playing together for over ten years, and the guitarists Jason Hammond and Ben VanArragon have brought the band into new and splendid places throughout the last year.
