Human embryonic stem cells have recently dominated scientific news, stimulating robust ethical debate and spawning the biggest scientific fraud in recent history. What are embryonic stem cells and what can they do? What does human cloning have to do with stem cells? What are the thorny ethical issues involved and how might they be resolved? We will address these questions in this primer and look to the future of human biology with a Reformed Christian eye.
