All those who participate in the Cold Knight Club Sem Pond Jump for four consecutive years become a member of the Golden Towel Club. Each jumper receives a Golden Towel and has their names engraved on a towel displayed in the alumni office. Two students are eligible to become members of the Golden Towel Club if they jump this year: Keri Aalderink and Don Buist.

And what exactly is the Cold Knight Club?

Simply put: a group of students willing to put on a bathing suit in February
and submerge themselves in Calvin's "Sem Pond," a picturesque body of water on campus that lies between President Gaylen Byker's house and the Calvin
Theological Seminary. More info»
