Calvin
College Alumni Choir A memorable evening of Broadway favorites that
features faculty and alumni soloists, the Calvin College Alumni Choir,
Pearl Shangkuan (conductor), and John Worst (host). Friday and Saturday,
Fine Arts Center.
Jason Harrod * Sat., Feb. 5; 8:00 p.m. - Gezon Auditorium. Young and old will appreciate his guitar, vocals and faith-inspired perspective.
Homecoming
Candlelight Dinner

Gather with alumni and friends, young and old, for a fun, informal dining
experience.Despite our thematic decorations for A Knight on Broadway,
"Black Tie" is NOT an option for this meal. We will also honor the recipients
of the Outstanding Service Award: Roger Brummel '61 and Carol Aukeman
Rienstra '69. Dinner will draw to a close by 7:45 p.m. so those that would
like to attend the Alumni Choir concert ("A Knight on Broadway") may do
so.

Fieldhouse
This 17th annual contest features lipsync and other up-beat acts prepared
by students on Friday night in the Fieldhouse. An alumni/friends seating
area will be reserved. Immediately following is the Homecoming Dance!
Alumni
Swim Meet
Sat., Feb. 5; 11:15a.m. - Bergsma Natatorium
This event is open to all alumni; prior swim team membership is not required.
Register and warm up at 11:00, meet begins at 11:15. Age groups offered
in 10-year increments. 50 and 100 yard races in all events, 200's as demanded,
and choice of 400 Individual Medley or 500 freestyle. Relays and novelty
events (suggestions are now being taken) included. Prizes will be awarded
as well as pseudo-immortality on the "alumni all-time top 100 list." Spectators
welcome! Last year's age range was class of '68 to '97. Mail or e-mail

Battle Creek, MI 49015) or appear at 11:00 on Saturday.
Basketball

3:00 p.m. - Fieldhouse
Catch the double-header court action in the Fieldhouse! The Calvin Knights
take on the St. Mary's Belles and the Adrian Bulldogs: the women's varsity
teams take the court at 12:45 p.m. and the men's varsity teams at 3:00
p.m. The Kay Tiemersma and Joe Beré Awards will be presented at the Athletic
Brunch at 11:00 a.m. and will be announced at halftime for Kristi Van
Woerkum, Grand Rapids, MI, and Steve Michmerhuizen, Zeeland, MI, respectively,
for their leadership and academic/athletic excellence.
Alumni

Please join us immediately following the men's varsity basketball game
to chat with old and new friends. Many alumni gather according to their
years of attendance at Calvin College. Enjoy a cup of coffee or punch
and expect to see familiar faces. (NOTE: Reunion Class photos will be
taken in July at Midsummer at Calvin ONLY.)
