Symposium on Religion and Public Life
Calvin College
Grand Rapids, Michigan
April 25-27, 2013

The Henry Institute for the Study of Christianity and Politics at Calvin College will sponsor the seventh biennial conference on the relationship between religion and public life from April 25-27, 2013, at Calvin's Prince Conference Center. This symposium is held in the spring of odd numbered years.

The purpose of this conference, and future such conferences, is to provide a distinct opportunity for scholars working in this field of study to come together in order to present papers related to their current research, foster personal and professional networks, facilitate joint research endeavors, and learn about research opportunities in the field.

The conference is open to both scholars and graduate students across different disciplines of study (e.g., political scientists, sociologists, historians). For more information about the Symposium which features scholarly papers on any aspect of the relationship between religion and politics (whether it be in terms of political philosophy, public policy, political history, comparative politics, electoral politics, constitutional law, or the sociology of religion), please see the program links below or contact:
