Thanks to generous support from the Gainey Institute for Faith and Communication and other friends of the Institute, Calvin College sponsors an ongoing “Workshops in Communication” program for professionals and students interested in learning how to be excellent, faithful communicators in church and society. These relatively inexpensive workshops, along with related conferences, are led by accomplished communicators in areas such as mass media, theatre, digital media, public speaking, worship technology, Web design, preaching, and fiction as well as non-fiction writing.

Please subscribe to our email list (privacy protected) for occasional notes about upcoming events and special funding, scholarship, and fellowship opportunities.

Unless otherwise noted, workshops and conferences are held in Grand Rapids, Michigan at the DeVos Communication Center on the lovely, 400-acre campus of Calvin College. The Institute also partners with other schools, professional organizations, and media to offer workshops in additional locations. To receive occasional email about upcoming workshops, please subscribe to the email newsletter.
