The Payroll Office, located in Spoelhof 370, is responsible for processing payroll for employees of Calvin College - including facutly, staff, and student employees. The Payroll Office handles direct deposits, payroll deductions, income tax withholding, garnishments, and everything else related to your paycheck.

The Student Employment Office is managed within the Payroll Office by our Student Employment Manager.
Exempt (salaried) employees are paid on the 1st and 15th of every month, totaling 24 paydays in a year. If the 1st or the 15th falls on a weekend or holiday, the pay date will be the preceding business day.
Non-Exempt (hourly staff and student) employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis on Friday, totaling 26 paydays in a year. If a Friday payroll falls on a holiday, the pay date will be the preceding business day.
