Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students (Direct PLUS)

This PLUS loan can be used to help cover college costs not covered by your student's financial aid package. It is:

• available to parents or graduate/professional degree students
• 7.9% fixed interest rate
• loan fee of 4% (beginning 7/1/2012)
• can be deferred while in school at least half time
• modest credit check required
• must file the FAFSA to apply
