Nominate a student

The Maple Leaf Scholarship helps Canadian students finance their Calvin education. In order to receive the scholarship, students must be nominated by a Calvin alumna/us.

Nomination deadline: April 1, 2013

Nomination criteria

Before you nominate a student for the Maple Leaf Scholarship, please note that the student must:

be a Canadian citizen or a Canadian landed immigrant
be attending, or have attended, Grade 12 in a Canadian High School
be entering or transferring to Calvin for the first time
have a minimum average mark of 75% or higher
be nominated by a Canadian alumna/us of Calvin College

Awarding scholarships

Once you nominate a student to receive the Maple Leaf Scholarship, we will notify you to confirm that we have received and processed your nomination.

Eligible nominees will be notifed of their nomination within seven days. Once a nominee is accepted to Calvin, the scholarship will appear in the student's financial aid award package.
