Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

The FAFSA is used by the federal government, state governments and Calvin College to determine need-based aid eligibility. The form is available online after January 1.

• Obtain PIN (both students and parents)

For maximum scholarship consideration, students should be admitted to Calvin and file the FAFSA by February 15.

Who should fill out this form?

• Any U.S. resident (including dual Canadian/U.S. citizens) seeking need-based financial aid.
• Returning students must reapply annually.

When should you submit this form?

• First year students: preferred date of February 15
• Transfer and returning students: preferred date of March 1

When will you hear about the results?

• First year students - April
• Transfer Students - May
• Returning students - June
