Steps to apply for financial aid 

Each family's situation will be individually assessed through a careful and confidential review of the international application for admission.

STEP 1 - FEBRUARY 1

Search and apply for donor-funded scholarships 

STEP 2 - APRIL 1

Submit the following forms, including:

• International student admission materials
• International Student Application for Financial Aid (download PDF instead) or International Student Full Pay Agreement (download PDF instead) 
• Supporting financial documents (e-mail or fax preferred)

STEP 3 - ONGOING

Formal review and admission

• Admission to Calvin is not formalized until the financial ability to cover costs has been determined
• Financial aid forms and supporting documents will be reviewed to determine eligibilty for financial aid programs
• International admission staff serve as advocates to the Committee on Scholarships and Financial Aid
• The committee awards scholarships and grants based on availability of funds and selection criteria established by the college
• An award notice will be sent by e-mail 

STEP 4 - JUNE 1

• Accept awards »
• Submit $2000 enrollment deposit
