The Friday evening meal is one of the fellowship highlights of Family Weekend! This meal promises to be a fun and active event with prizes, surprises, and opportunities to share Calvin stories! Families are seated together at tables of eight. Seating is pre-assigned, so this provides an opportunity to share the meal with another Calvin family (or two!).

If your family wishes to be seated with a specified group of people, please indicate that when you order tickets. Please also notify us of any special dietary requests with your registration and ticket order. Tickets for this banquet may be ordered through Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at 5:00 p.m. EST. No tickets for the banquet will be sold after Tuesday, October 20.

There is no charge for Calvin students to attend the Family Weekend Banquet. However, when you order banquet tickets you must be sure to order a banquet ticket (at no charge) for each Calvin student in order to reserve a seat at the table. This assures that we are able to properly pre-seat your family and also make efficient use of space in the Great Hall at the Prince Conference Center.

In past years this event has always sold out and we have had to turn families away for lack of space. To address this we are adding an overflow room in Willow Room, adjacent to the Great Hall of the Prince Conference Center. Guests seated in the Willow Room will be connected to the event (devotions, speakers, etc.) in the Great Hall via a video monitor and sound. Guests will not be assigned to the Willow Room until the Great Hall tickets have all been sold.

The meal and program will conclude on time, allowing sufficient time for guests to attend the Fall Music Festival (8:00 p.m.), or the Improv Comedy Team show (9:00 p.m.).
