In the January Interim we particularly desire prayer for:

• Preparing well for the coming transition of leadership:
  • President Gaylen Byker (and his wife Susan) have offered valuable leadership for 17 years. Give thanks for them. Pray for joy and peace to finish strong, knowing God's peace.
  • Dr. Michael Le Roy is recommended by the Presidential Search Committee to be the next President. Pray for wisdom and grace as he awaits final approval.
  • The Board of Trustees will meet in February to consider final approval. Pray the will of God may be sought and carried out.


• Interim, a time of travel for many in our community:
  • There are approximately 500 students and 40 professors traveling to 19 countries during January.
  • Pray for God's protection, unity and peace. May each individual and all activities demonstrate a desire to put the triune God first.
