Tricia Alley |
| Tricia Alley is a junior at Calvin, majoring in rhetoric communication and art. She is looking forward to a second year with the Worship Apprentice Team, eager for more opportunities to use her gifts and talents in vocal music and visual art to engage the Calvin community in meaningful worship. Tricia is very grateful for this opportunity to serve and learn. |
Katie Broekhuizen |
| Katie Broekhuizen is a junior from Hudsonville, Michigan. She is currently pursuing a major in Music in Worship. She is active in worship at her home church through her gifts in piano, and she loves helping to plan and lead worship there. Katie hopes to learn much more about the aspects of worship and leading it, and is so excited to be a part of the worship life here at Calvin through the Worship Apprentice team. She is grateful for this opportunity and excited to see what God has in store for this team. |
Drew Elliot |
| Drew Elliot is a senior from Rochester, New York, who is studying psychology and music. Worship is a driving force in his life and he is very excited to serve Calvin’s community. He is also excited to explore the spiritual gifts that God has given him. After Calvin, Drew plans to both work with a Church and get a degree in Audio Engineering. |
Sam Haist |
Sam Haist is a senior from Wheaton, Illinois, and is studying Theology. His interests include Jesus, the church, thick books, and music. After
Calvin, Sam hopes to attend seminary and eventually become a church
planter. He is a multi-instrumentalist and is excited to grow while
using his gifts to serve the chapel for the glory and fame of Jesus. |
Robin Jeong |
Robin Jeong is a junior from Fremont, California. He is majoring in
Philosophy and Greek, and he wants to pursue further studies in seminary. He plays guitar and sings; besides his passion for guitar and singing, he enjoys dancing and playing basketball. With his experience as a worship leader before college, Robin hopes to bring a fresh aspect to the team. |
Mike Lee |
Mike Lee is a senior Biochemistry major from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Mike is passionate about serving the Lord in all areas of his life and is
continually open to listening for God’s calling. He hopes to serve Calvin’s community with his gifts and talents in a way that glorifies God. After graduation, Mike is interested in possibly going to dental school and/or seminary to become a medical missionary. In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his family and friends, as well as eating Ethiopian cuisine. |
Nicole Lenko |
| Nicole Lenko is a senior from Pottstown, Pennsylvania, pursuing both Math and CAS in the Secondary Education program. She has a myriad of interests, and loves to pursue God with others. Nicole hopes to explore all different kinds of visual/physical art in worship, and is excited to help others use their gifts for God's glory and the benefit of the community. |
Henry Muller |
| Henry Muller is a Junior from Grand Rapids, Michigan, majoring in psychology and minoring in studio art. He hopes to some day work with inner city children through Grand Rapids schools. Being able to take up this Worship Apprentice responsibility is a dream come true for him. Henry has been actively participating in worship services since age 13 (when he got his first guitar). He believes that habitual worship is at the core of actively following Christ and hopes to bring a fresh perspective to the team and to the campus. |
Eric Van Giessen |
Eric Van Giessen is a sophomore from Waterloo, Ontario. He is
currently pursuing an Interdisciplinary major in Music in Worship,
Philosophy and Studio Art. He is excited to become more involved with
campus life, and to contribute his musical and creative skills in
Calvin’s worship. Eric is eager to learn as much as he can so that he
may use his newly learned skills at whatever church he serves in the
future. |
Auna Walker |
Auna Walker is from Calumet City, Illinois. She is a sophomore who is
looking forward to working with the team this year. Auna is leaning towards
a social work major and desires to continue learning about music and
participating in praise and worship at her church and at Calvin. She thanks
God for the many enriching experiences that she will come across on this
team. |
