Mentoring

The mentoring program pairs students with a mentor who will walk alongside them throughout their college experience. The mentor’s role is one of a wise Christian friend who will help students process the college experience and challenge them to mature in their relationship with God

Discipling Athletes

A number of exciting programs have been created to foster spiritual growth and leadership among student athletes at Calvin College.

Barnabas Team

The Barnabas Team, strives to challenge students to live together as the Body of Christ, as they minister to one another and assist in the development of student-led activities and events that promote Christian community and discipleship.

Worship Apprentices

A team of students — musicians, writers, artists, techies, and more — work with staff to develop their leadership gifts and interests in all areas of worship on campus.

Jubilee Fellows

This program is designed to serve a dozen students who have a strong inclination toward spiritual leadership and ministry. It has academic, relational, and internship components.
