Paul is the Coordinator for Christian Formation through Worship serving primarily with L.O.F.T. and co-directing the Worship Apprentice Program. Paul is a graduate of Indiana University School of Music (BM, vocal performance) and Calvin Theological Seminary (M.Div) and is an ordained pastor in the Christian Reformed Church in North America.

Though an Indiana Hoosier at heart, Paul is originally from Ohio where he grew up in a non-denominational charismatic church. Since Paul attended Indiana University for his undergraduate degree, he is frequently asked, "How did you make your way to Calvin?" He smiles every time he is asked.

When not leading worship, preparing a sermon, or working with students from Calvin, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife Sheila, son Connor, and dog Nelson. He is frequently caught listening to Brit-pop and Electrnoica music, reading the New York Times, and jogging around Calvin's campus for exercise.
