Contact: Paul Ryan

Paul is the Associate Chaplain for Worship, leading Chapel and LOFT and serving as a resource for worship around campus. Paul is a graduate of Indiana University School of Music (BM, vocal performance) and Calvin Theological Seminary (M.Div) and is an ordained pastor in the Christian Reformed Church in North America.

Though an Indiana Hoosier at heart, Paul is originally from Ohio where he grew up in a non-denominational charismatic church. Since Paul attended Indiana University for his undergraduate degree, he is frequently asked, "How did you make your way to Calvin?" He smiles every time he is asked.

When not leading worship or working with students from Calvin, Paul enjoys spending time with his wife Sheila, sons Connor and Sean, and dog Nelson. He is frequently caught talking about Tigers baseball and the latest Dr. Who episode, reading J.R.R. Tolkien, or running around Calvin's campus for exercise and sunshine.

Paul is the Coordinator LOFT and Music, leading worship in chapel and LOFT and co-directing the Worship Apprentice Program.
