Faith - Office of Christian Formation for Campus Life

Vision:

At Calvin, we are in the continual process of learning and growing. If you are interested in being a "prime citizen" in God's kingdom, then you know you need a life rich in prayer, discipleship, and the joy of belonging to God. But, how do you practically carry that out when you have papers to write, classes to attend, and relationships to maintain? The vision and purpose of the Office of Christian Formation is to come alongside students and mentor, pray, coach, listen, train, challenge, students to understand how Christ is working in their life, and the life of the community.

Students, faculty, and staff are all encouraged to stop by the office and share in this journey and perhaps consume a bit of strong coffee. Look below for student opportunities and contact information.

Opportunities for Leadership:

Barnabas Team

The Barnabas Team is a pilot program responsible for promoting Christian growth among the on-campus and off-campus students at Calvin College. The Barnabas Team does this by being servant leaders of fellow students, gathering students together for activities promoting Christian community, and helping students find ways to minister to one another within that community.
