Welcome back! We meet as a community to begin the second semester. We welcome back students and faculty who have traveled and studied abroad and we ask God's blessing on the academic work of the semester ahead.
Special guest Mike Mantel presents Water: For the Least of These
Come to ReGathering 2010 to hear Mike Mantel from Living Water International
Mike Mantel was reared in Modesto, CA, and graduated from Calvin College with a Business major in 1983. He moved to Ann Arbor and worked in real estate acquisition and management for Tom Monahan of Domino's Pizza.
Mike traveled to Senegal, West Africa eight years later, returned, quit his job, and started to work with World Vision. He was there for 16 years.
About 18 months ago he began to work for Living Water International, a group that seeks to provide clean water in places that lack it. He earned a PhD in Organizational Development from Benedictine University. Mike is married to Natalie Boonstra, an attorney, and they have two daughters, at Calvin.
