Parents: Photos and Gifts

Photos and gifts for graduates and parents

The Campus Store and a number of partnering businesses offer special memorabilia for Calvin graduates and their parents.

Photos - A professional photographer will take a photograph of each graduate as he or she shakes hands with provost Claudia Beversluis or Board of Trustees chair Bastian Knoppers. Grads and families may order prints from GradPix.com

Flowers - Rose bouquets and floral gifts will be available for purchase or can be ordered and paid for in advance.

Caps and gowns - The campus events office provides these for all graduates with no charge (unless grads fail to return them). Grads are measured for their cap and gown during Senior Salute. The gowns must be returned to Hoogenboom 204 by 5 p.m. on Commencement Saturday; caps and tassels may be kept.

Frames and other gifts from the Campus Store

Commencement DVD - The college will be producing a DVD of the entire commencement ceremony ($15).

2009-2010 PrismPrism (yearbook) - Preserve campus memories with an advance order for the annual student yearbook. The annual yearbook contains 160 full-color landscape pages filled with short writings and photographs of students' friends, extracurricular activities, sports, apartments, and on-campus events. Cost: $15. The books will be shipped (for free) in late November. Contact prism@calvin.edu with any questions about distribution.

Calvin College Nursing Pin - Have a child graduating from the BSN program? The nursing department offers a nursing pin designed by and for Calvin alumni nurses.
