Line & Time
The starting line will be located near the Prince Conference
Center. Here is a map of the 2008
course.
The 5k Race/Walk starts at 8:30 a.m. The walk is non-competitive
but finish times will be available.
Entry Fees
5k Run or 5k Walk:
$22 by 4/24/07 (Calvin student $15)
$25 if postmarked on or after 4/24/08

Packet Pick-Up
T-shirt and Packet Pick-Up will ONLY be available the morning of the
race from 6:45 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at the Calvin
Prince Conference Center. This is also when you will receive your Champion
Chip.
Results & Timing
The 5k run will be professionally timed by Classic
Race Management using the Champion Chip.
Final time results will be available within 30 minutes of finish and
will appear on this web site within 24 hours.
Organizers & Sponsors
The Grand Rapids and Lakeshore Area Alumni Chapters of Calvin College
host this race. Because of our generous corporate
sponsors, all entry fees go toward student scholarships!
Participants and fans are all encouraged to donate to the Chapter's
Scholarship Fund. Please indicate the amount on the registration form
and enclose.
Awards
Prizes, gift certificates and cash will be given away following the
race, including five $100 bills! Registered participants are all eligible,
though you must be present to win.
Awards will be given to the overall and masters male and female
5k runners and to the top three male and female 5k runners
in the age categories listed below.
