The starting line ...will be determined.

The 5k Race/Walk starts at 9:00 a.m. The walk is non-competitive but finish times will be available.

Entry Fees

5k Run or 5k Walk:
$25 prior to 4/22. $30 on 4/22 or after.
$18 student

Online registration is available (pending). Day-of, walk-up registrations available at the Huizenga Tennis and Track center accessed through the main door of the Spoelhof Fieldhouse Complex.

Please join us! This race is not exclusive to Calvin alumni and students. But sorry, no refunds.

Packet Pick-Up

T-shirt and Packet Pick-Up will be available the morning of the race from 7:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at the new Spoelhof Fieldhouse Complex's Huizenga Tennis and Track Center. Please note that you must enter through the main doors of the Spoelhof Fieldhouse Complex, and then proceed to the Huizenga Tennis and Track Center for registration. This is also when you will receive your Chronotrack D-tag.

Results & Timing

The 5k run will be professionally timed by Classic Race Management using the
Chronotrack D-tag system.

Final time results will be available within 30 minutes of finish and will appear on this web site within 24 hours.

Organizers & Partners

The Grand Rapids and Lakeshore Area Alumni Chapters of Calvin College host this race. Because of our generous corporate partners, all entry fees go toward student scholarships!

Participants and fans are all encouraged to donate to the chapter's scholarship fund. Please indicate the amount on the registration form and enclose.

Awards

Prizes, gift certificates and cash will be given away following the race, including five $100 bills! Registered participants are all eligible, though you must be present to win.

Awards will be given to the overall and masters male and female 5k runners and to the top three male and female 5k runners in the age categories listed below.
