From June 5- July 1, the Calvin College Art Department presents "Mary Burks: I Felt Like It," nuno felt pieces in 3D shapes. The exhibition is on display at the (106) South Division Gallery in conjunction with Convergence 2006, the biennial, international conference sponsored by the Handweavers Guild of America, Inc. (HGA).

Mary Burks, BA University of Oklahoma, has participated in many juried exhibits, one and two-person shows, and invitational shows. She has won awards for her textile works, many of which are in private and public collections. Mary is the Indiana state representative for the Handweavers Guild of America and teaches fiber arts at the Indianapolis Art Center. More of her work can be seen at www.maryburks.com.
