From April 28 - May 7 the Calvin College Art Department presents MADE, 2005 Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition in the Center Art Gallery. The exhibition features work by senior BFA students Juan Garcia, Shannon Gales, and Raleigh Chadderdon. Garcia's work includes simplisitc paintings on masonite and paper, as well as haunting sound and video installations. Focusing on more 3-dimensional forms as a result of her interest in fashion, Gales' work encompases clothing made of raw materials, and sculptural pieces. Rounding out the exhibition are vibrant prints, spray paintings, and digital images by Chadderdon, referencing contemporary culture and commercial art.
