Senior Art Exhibition

May 1-22, 2004

From May 1-22, the Center Art Gallery at Calvin College presents its annual Senior Art Exhibition, a juried exhibition featuring work by 29 graduating senior art majors. This group includes students completing requirements for a BFA, or a BA in studio art, art education, or pre-architecture.

The exhibition is being juried by Kelly Vanderbrug, Assistant Professor of Art at North Park University in Chicago, and a 1994 BFA graduate of Calvin College.

The artists include: Stephanie Ainsworth, Melissa Henry, Nathan Hibma, Andrew Hodgson, Sarah Lowrey, Derek Petersen, Alison VanderWoude, Jevon van Vliet, Peter Dewey, Elisabeth Fellowes, Jenny DeFouw, Robin Leed, Julie Meyer, Alyssa Pullen-Incorvaia, Rachel Weening, Lauren Acker, David Malda, Alexander Beerhorst, Lee Bolt, Jessie Lair, Michelle Vondiziano, Zac Wanner, Katie Daining, Ryan Schoonover, Jodi Vermeulen, Becky Kurtz, Lindsay Goodyk, Kristen Elizabeth Carlson, and Ryan Norman.

A Reception honoring the students is scheduled for Friday, May 21 from 6-9pm.
Commencement follows on Saturday, May 22 (open hours extended until 5pm on Commencement).

The barrier-free Center Art Gallery, located on the lower level of the Spoelhof College Center, is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, and noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday. There is no admission charge.
