From August 27 to October 11, the Center Art Gallery at Calvin College presents “Collector’s Items: Biblical Art and Private Devotion,” an exhibition of over 70 works of art by such well-known artists as Albrecht Dürer, Rembrandt van Rijn, Käthe Kollwitz, and George Rouault. The works date from the 16th century to the present and are drawn exclusively from the private collection of Sandra Bowden, an artist and president of Christians in the Visual Arts (CIVA), and her husband, Robert.
