Events List
Job fairs are a great place to meet employers. Company representatives attend job fairs to meet potential employees and increase awareness of their organization. Read our handout for detailed information about job fairs.

Tuesday, April 23, 2013, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Calvin College, Prince Conference Center (1800 East Beltline SE, Grand Rapids, 49546)
School districts will send representatives to meet with candidates who are finishing their program in education at Aquinas, Calvin, Cornerstone, GVSU, and Hope. Employers:register online or on paper. See registered school districts.
Calvin students: register by sending an email to edcareer@calvin.edu with your full name and certification areas as you want them to appear on your name tag, and attach your resume to the email.Examples:

Students from other non-sponsoring schools: You are welcome to attend. A $10 fee will be charged at the door.

President Michael Le Roy will speak on "Why Business Matters," and business students will interact with business professionals in speed networking sessions. See more information and register.
October 16, 2012, 1:00-5:00 p.m., DeVos Place Convention Center
A fair for all majors from a variety of local colleges and universities. Companies recruit for full-time positions as well as internships. Free shuttle available, leaving from the Spoelhof flag pole at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30, and from the DeVos back to Calvin at 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, and 5:00. No pre-registration is necessary for the fair or the shuttle. See the list of employers and positions online or as a pdf or as Excel.
October 18, 9:30 - 3:00, Library Lobby
Representatives from approximately 30 seminaries and divinity schools, from a wide variety of denominations and traditions, will be on campus to talk with interested students about their schools, degree programs and the path to professional ministry.

February 15, 2013, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (need to attend the entire day), Lexington Lansing, Lansing, MI
A unique fair for internships and full-time positions, organized by private liberal arts colleges and universities in Michigan. This event is organized into a "meet and greet" morning session and scheduled interviews in the afternoon. See a list of participating employers or check out this video for more information. Stop by the Career Development Office to register and pay your $10 registration fee.
February 20, 2013, 3:30-5:30 p.m., Calvin's Prince Conference Center
Calvin students seeking nursing externships and full-time positions attend this fair. Students in other health-related majors are also welcome to attend. Employers: register online or on paper. See a list of registered employers and their openings.
