Free shuttle available, leaving from the Spoelhof flag pole at 12:30, 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30, and from the DeVos back to Calvin at 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, and 5:00. Griffins #Sportsbiz Career Building Event

in partnership with MI Statewide Sport Management Association

  • Get a behind-the-scenes look at the ticket sales, sponsorship, social media and digital marketing operations of the Grand Rapids Griffins and get tips and techniques on how to break into the sports industry.
  • Hear from 2012 GVSU graduate Mike Myeno on his progression from intern to season ticket sales account executive with the Griffins.
  • Network with Griffins managers and directors and apply for internship and inside sales positions available during the 2014-15 seasons (please bring your current resume).

Tickets that include admission to both the event and the Griffins game are $16 for Lower Level Faceoff seating or $12 in the Upper Level. Proceeds from each ticket purchased will benefit the Michigan Statewide Sport Management Association.

Team Detroit, a full-service advertising agency, is recruiting for summer interns, and students from any major are invited to attend a networking event at the Team Detroit headquarters. Team Detroit has over 1,000 employees and some of their clients include Ford, Lincoln, Sports Authority, Carhartt, Shell, and Bosch, among others.
