Recruiters on Calvin's campus can set up informational displays, hold informational sessions, schedule interviews with students and attend career fairs. Contact us two weeks in advance to schedule your visit.
Calvin's academic calendar begins in early September and concludes in mid-May. Our year consists of a 4-1-4 plan with two four-month semesters and a one-month interim term in January. The student population is lower in January due to off-campus interim programs.
Career development staff members will take care of reserving space and coordinating your schedule of informational sessions and on-campus interviews. To arrange a recruiting visit, contact Kristy Dykhouse at (616) 526-6245.
Informational display tables can be located in two high traffic area of campus - the library lobby or Johnny's. We will provide you with a table and chairs near an electrical outlet. If you need additional audio/video equipment we'd be happy to provide it. We will advertise your visit to the student body. We can also reserve a classroom for informational meetings.
Career fairs are held throughout the academic year, often in collaboration with other area colleges. Check the events list for details about upcoming fairs, or contact Laurie Lemmen at (616) 526-8744 with any questions.
Calvin has a campus-wide policy prohibiting solicitation on our campus. Recruiters may schedule 2 visits per semester, but not to exceed a total of 4 campus visits per year.
