Annual Center for Public Justice Kuyper Lecture will be presented by David Kim at the Prince Conference Center.

Rev. David H. Kim is the Executive Director for Redeemer Pres NYC, overseeing all the ministries of the Center for Faith & Work and also serving as the Pastor of Faith and Work of Redeemer. Prior to this role, David served as the Director of the Gotham Fellowship, developing and teaching its intensive curriculum while providing spiritual direction. Prior to joining CFW in 2007, David was a Chaplain at Princeton University, where he also served as the Founder and Executive Director of Manna Christian Fellowship for over 12 years.

Rev. Kim will deliver the annual Kuyper Lecture, sponsored by the Center for Public Justice, as part of the Henry Institute's Symposium on Religion and Public Life. He will be speaking on "Serving the City, Shaping the Political Culture."  The lecture is free and open to the public, and will be followed by a reception.

Although David has lived in New York since 2010, he grew up in the Philadelphia area. He received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania, his M.Div. from Westminster Theological Seminary, and his Th.M. from Princeton Theological Seminary, where his studies focused on the public theology of Abraham Kuyper. Currently, he is pursuing his D.Min. at Fuller Theological Seminary in the area of faith and culture. David has a passion for making the gospel real to life, especially in the context of work. He’s written a devotional book that connects the narrative of Scripture to our lives today: Glimpses of a Greater Glory: A Devotional through the Storyline of the Bible. He’s also the author of 20 and Something: Have the Time of Your Life (and Figure it All Out Too).  David is a frequent speaker at universities and churches.
