The Broene Counseling Center facilitates a number of groups throughout the school year that bring together students with similar concerns. Below is a list of the services that we provide. Active Minds seeks to truthfully inform and break the preconceived stereotypes about mental illness to engage students in a dialogue with the mental health community.

SAPT works to end rape, sexual assault, and harassment by educating for change in attitudes and behaviors and by equipping compassionate and knowledgeable responders.
SAGA (Sexuality Awareness, Gender Acceptance), is a peer education group of both gay and straight students with a counselor mentor from the Broene Counseling Center. SAGA includes students who have a friend or family member who is gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered, as well as others who have an interest in topics of gender and sexual orientation.
