The Moses Hogan Singers
The music of Moses Hogan has become a staple in the choral repertoire around around the world. Following a stunning performance with his chorale at the American Choral Directors Convention in 1992, Moses Hogan, a prominent African American arranger, conductor and clinician received invitations worldwide. In 1998 he formed the highly acclaimed professional ensemble, The Moses Hogan Singers. Their debut recording, Give Me Jesus was recently released on EMI records.

As soloist with more than a hundred orchestras, as a captivating recitalist and chamber music performer, as an innovative jazz artist and appearances on nearly fifty recordings, Stoltzman has defied categorization, dazzling critics and audiences alike throughout many musical genres. The most recent CD release for this two-time Grammy winner is WorldBeat Bach, on BMG/RCA Victor. Richard is accompanied on the piano by his son, Peter Stoltzman.

Michelle DeYoung, mezzo-soprano
Michelle DeYoung
Michelle is one of the most exciting artists of her generation. Upon graduation from from the Metropolitan Opera's Young Artists Program, she has appeared on the concert platform with the world's most illustrious orchestras in the U.S. and Europe. She has performed at the Salzburg, Ravinia, Flanders and Edinburgh Festivals as well as the Pacific Music Festival in Japan. ON the operatic stage, Michelle DeYoung has performed at the Glimmerglass Opera, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Seattle Opera, and at Covent Garden. As a recitalist she has debuted at the Theatre du Chatelet, and Alice Tulley Hall. Her most recent recording, Les Troyens with Sir Colin Davis and the London Symphony Orchestra, won the 2001 Grammy for Best Classical Album and Best Opera Recording. Ms. DeYoung attended Calvin College and presented a recital in March 2001 as part of Calvin's 125th Anniversary Celebration.

Alon Goldstein
Alon Goldstein is one of the most respected young pianists on the international scene. Goldstein earned his masters degree from the Peabody Conservatory, where he worked extensively with Leon Fleisher. He has earned glowing recommendations from Fleisher, Claudio Abbado, and Zubin Mehta, among others. He has participated in the Aspen, Marlboro, Ravinia, and Tanglewood music festivals, and performed with top orchestras including the Israel Philharmonic and the St. Louis Symphony. In the 2001-2002 season, he made his concerto debut with the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Kansas City Symphony and the Gilmore Festival Orchestra. Currently, Mr. Goldstein is attending the Theo Lieven International Piano Foundation in Northern Italy.

Bach Collegium Japan
In 1990, Masaaki Suzuki, conductor, organist, harpsichordist and composer, founded the Bach Collegium Japan. This baroque orchestra and choir specializes in performances of Bach cantatas, and is recording the complete cantata cycle for the Swedish label BIS. Hailed in BBC Music Magazine as “the kings from the East,” the Bach Collegium Japan has been widely recognized as a bright and ascending star among the world’s leading interpreters of Bach and his contemporaries. Not only has the Japanese music scene benefited from the concerts by this path-breaking ensemble, but the world has taken notice as well. Bach Collegium Japan’s recordings and concerts in Europe and Israel have caused great celebration as audiences and critics have marveled at the beauty and emotional depth of their performances. This is the first U.S. tour by the Bach Collegium Japan.
