How to Apply: International Students

In order to apply to Calvin*, submit the following:
*U.S. citizens living internationally, read this.

  1. Completed online International Application, including essays and application fee. You may also download and print the application (.pdf).
  2. Transcripts from any high school and/or college(s) attended and any National Exam Test Results (if applicable)
  3. Academic/Educational recommendation
  4. Applicable test scores (see Testing Guidelines)
  5. Declaration of Finances form and supporting documents
  6. Profile of Educational Background Form

We do not accept forms from any other sources such as The College Board and we require all supporting documents to be original or certified copies.

U.S. Citizens Living Internationally

You will need to complete the International Application, however, you should follow all the same admissions and financial aid processes as other U.S. citizens.

Admission Standards: International

Financial commitment
Students must show the ability to meet a certain level of financial commitment in order to be admitted. Our Declaration of Finances form is the only form we use for this process. You may also have someone submit a Sponsor form on your behalf. Find out more »

Application Deadlines

Completed applications are considered on a rolling basis until the deadlines below.

  Fall Sem Spring Sem
First Year Aug. 25 Jan. 15
Transfer Aug. 25 Jan. 15
Canadian Aug. 25 Jan. 15
International April 1 Dec. 15*

*We do not accept international applications mid-year unless you are an international student in the U.S. who is transferring to Calvin.
