Volunteer Partnership Conference

A note from the Director of the Calvin Alumni Association about the VPC:

This day-and-a-half experience is a great way to spark up your local alumni chapter, as we spend time discussing ways to improve chapter organization and events. It has proved to be invaluable to spend time with other chapter leaders from all over North America, helping each other solve problems and brainstorm great activities for alumni and friends.

What a great weekend this will be, and if your chapter is eligible this year, the Alumni Association will pick up all expenses—meals, local lodging and transportation (if needed). We can’t offer this to every chapter every year—decision is based on a geographical rotation, and these chapters will be notified—but if you have a special situation you would like us to consider, let us know soon! The more the merrier and the sooner you express your interest, the better. As you would guess, there are budget considerations involved!

Calvin President Dr. Gaylen Byker will also be joining us for dinner on Friday evening. You will have a chance to meet him and ask him questions in an informal setting.
