Young Alumni with President Le Roy

Join Calvin College alumni and friends for appetizers and beverages at Naked City Brewery-Taphouse (8564 Greenwood Ave N in Seattle; map).

Seattle locals Brian Wolters '99 and Ben ‘03 and Cherie ‘03 Katt will host and our group will meet at 6:30 p.m. to hang out and enjoy some great food—we’ll provide the appetizers and one beverage ticket (you can purchase anything you’d like beyond that)! Calvin President Michael Le Roy will join us shortly after we gather to share some college updates, but really...he wants to hear from you!

Knights volleyball heads west to play in an early-season tournament at the University of the Puget Sound in Tacoma* on August 30 and 31—a tournament with some of the best teams in the country invited.

"Beyond Downton Abbey" | July 29, 2013

Join Calvin English professor Sarina Moore for a special talk titled: "Beyond Downton Abbey," on Monday, July 29, at 7 p.m. Currently, Moore is doing research on the 19th century British novelist Elizabeth Gaskell, a writer who has gained popularity since the BBC adapted several of her novels as TV mini-series. Her knowledge of this time period offers an interesting window into the history and literature connected with Downton Abbey, a British period drama television series on PBS that has received numerous awards since it debuted in 2010.
