Join us for a night at the Jazz Showcase of Chicago on
Thursday, May 10. You will meet Calvin alumna Alyce
Claerbaut '69,
a member of the Jazz Institute of Chicago who was
named one of 2011’s “Chicagoans of the Year” by the
Chicago Tribune for her work in the jazz circles in the city. She was also recently featured in the Spring Spark magazine. You will also hear from jazz great Benny Golson on the
saxophone with the DePaul University Big Band.
