Join Calvin alumni and friends for a luncheon with guest speaker Bruce Ryskamp.
Bruce Ryskamp ’62 is the retired president and CEO of Zondervan Corporation. He spent his entire career in the publishing industry; his longest stint was at Zondervan where he played an integral role in production of the NIV Bible. Bruce still serves on numerous boards, including the Crossroad Bible Institute and All God’s Children. Bruce and his wife of 49 years, Jeralyn, have three children and 10 grandchildren. Join us for an intriguing conversation with Bruce.

Dr. Larry Gerbens, from Calvin’s advancement division, will talk about his extensive art collection which focuses on the Prodigal Son. We will enjoy a salad buffet at the Bonita Bay Club in Bonita Springs.
Dr. Gerbens and his wife, Mary, started their art collection in the mid 1990s. Inspired by the prodigal son parable, they continued to collect numerous original art works and writings on that theme. Their collection now has a permanent home on Calvin’s campus and is a living testament to the “art of forgiveness.” In 2009 a book entitled The Father & His Two Sons: The Art of Forgiveness, which features the collection, was published.
