Every year, great golf is combined with a great purpose: raising funds for the Grand Rapids Area Alumni Chapter Scholarship for first-year students (and renewable for one year).

The Course

Pilgrim's Run is a 2007 United States Open qualifying site and was named one of the "Top 100 Golf Courses You Can Play" by Golf magazine in 2002 and one of the "Top 10 Public Courses in Michigan" by Michigan Golf magazine in 2006.

Directions: Follow U.S. 131 north to Exit 110 (Sand Lake). Go west one mile to Newcosta Ave, then north four miles to the entrance on the left.

Note: Soft spikes required on this course!

Sign Me Up!

Register online using our secure, credit card service.

Men: $170 per two-person team; Women: $340 per four-person team. Price includes cart, meal, prizes for all levels of play and special Calvin gift for each golfer. Continental breakfast in the morning; a hot meal will be available after the completion of the golf round in both the morning and afternoon flights. We will again include a special hole-in-one contest and all golfers are eligible for great give-aways at the post-round meals.

Prizes

The first three teams in the championship and men's regular flights will receive prizes. The first two teams in the senior and women's flights will receive prizes. Individual prizes will also be awarded for closest to pin on two par threes and for one longer drive in fairway for all flights.

Corporate Sponsorships

Alumni and friends in businesses or non-profits are encouraged to contact the Alumni Office if you 'd like to take advantage of a great advertising opportunity and sponsor a hole ($500 each); driving range ($750); Underwriter ($2,500); awards ($1,000) or the meal ($1,500). You'll be reaching over 260 Calvin golfers! Your participation means more scholarship dollars for students!

Scholarships

Since this event is sponsored by local businesses, all profits go toward the Grand Rapids Area Alumni Chapter Scholarship Fund for first- and second-year Calvin students. Want to support the scholarship fund? Please add a contribution to your registration fee.
