DeVos Place Convention Center

Touted as "one of the biggest wagers the community has ever placed" by the Grand Rapids Press, DeVos Place already is making a notable economic impact as 100 conventions and public events have already been booked.

An estimated 192,000 people are expected to attend non-public conventions at DeVos Place over the next seven years.

Calvin alumni and friends will be joined by principal DeVos players Steve Wilson, head of the Grand Rapids-Kent County Convention and Visitors Bureau, and Brian Craig of Progressive AE, the local architectural firm that designed the center.

Tours and light refreshments will also be available as we get a chance to examine the 13 acres of the sparkling new building. Take in the 165,000-square-foot exhibition hall, 35,000 square feet of meeting-room space, the 25,000-square-foot banquet kitchen and more!
