Music in Pictures; Pictures in Music (Kid-friendly Concerts)

Covenant Fine Arts Center Auditorium

Have you ever listened to a piece of music that paints a very clear picture in your mind? The Calvin Community Symphony will take you on a delightful journey that sparks the imagination. The fun-filled, musically packed concert titled Music in Pictures; Pictures in Music will include projected images and opportunities to create individual artwork. Concert activities include:

  • an instrument building station prior to the concert
  • 45-minute concert
  • instrument petting zoo

Admission is free; no tickets are required. A free-will offering will be taken.

Spring Concert

The Calvin Community Symphony under the direction of Robert Nordling will present their spring concert on March 2 at 8pm.

Admission is free; tickets are not required. A free-will offering will be taken.


Calvin Community Symphony Patrons

The operating costs of the Calvin Community Symphony have been generously supported through faithful patrons, and we continue to seek financial support to help defray our expenses which largely consist of advertising, music and auditorium rental, and stipends for guest musicians and composers. All gifts are tax deductible.
