More Than Warm Bread: Bakeries that Build Community
Join David LaGrand ’88, the owner of the Wealthy Street Bakery and the planned Hall Street Bakery as he talks about “business with a purpose.” How might Christians be successful in their business venture, yet keep focused on building God’s Kingdom in the city at the same time?
About our speaker
David LaGrand graduated from Calvin in 1988 with a Bachelor in Arts degree in history. After graduate work at the University of Michigan in history, LaGrand went on to earn a law degree from the University of Chicago in 1992.
