This is a new and exciting venture for alumni chapters, one which is catching on at colleges and universities everywhere. Chapters showing an "active involvement" in career networking have some formal program in place for assisting Calvin students and/or alumni explore career options and get linked to job openings.

"Careering" can be pursued in various ways:

• Organizing alumni employers to interview on Calvin's campus.
  
• Sponsoring a career forum for alumni, Calvin students and/or high schoolers.
  
• Setting up internships at various businesses, agencies and other work sites.
  
• Collecting resumes from area alumni to be entered into the college's job data banks.
