Career Connections: How can you help?
Share Your Story brochure coverThe Alumni Association wants to provide many more opportunities for Calvin students and alumni to benefit from our worldwide Calvin alumni connects!

Career Networking Database: Fill out the survey below and join the growing list of alumni volunteers assisting students in the following ways:

  1. Share your story
You know first-hand the answers to questions like "How did you prepare for this occupation?" or "What does your typical day look like?" Students will call or e-mail you to get answers to basic career-related questions such as these.

  2. Recruit on campus
Perhaps the best way to measure Calvin grads is in a one-on-one interview. We can arrange this for you! Set up a convenient time to interview selected students (we’ll provide resumes in advance and handle the scheduling) or participate in a job fair.

  3. Accept resumes
Known for their hard work and high ethical standards, Calvin grads are ready to contribute to your company. And you can help by putting the right resume in hiring hands.

  4. Provide an internship
Join the hundreds of companies each year who benefit from the new ideas and fresh energy an intern brings! Businesses participating in internships agree to provide students with adequate supervision to insure that both the student and employer receive maximum benefits. In return, companies receive a cost-effective screening program for hiring qualified students upon graduation and free up their staff to do more advanced or higher priority work. Give a student the opportunity to put their knowledge to work for you in a semester-long or summer placement.

  5. Share information about your hometown
Calvin graduates—both with jobs and still searching—are interested in the inside scoop about your hometown. Answer questions about transportation, housing, churches and schools, weather, and other things that make a place a home.
