Based on initial responses to the career networking survey, we are finding that many alumni are willing to share their career story. To maximize the potential for students to hear these stories, the Career Services Office is creating an alumni-story notebook for the career resource center on campus. (Selected stories may also be posted online.) If this is one of your interest areas, please consider submitting a more detailed description of your career story. Your “career story” might contain answers to questions such as:

• What was your original major and career plans, if any?
• How did you find your first job?
• How have specific individuals been helpful to you in discovering your career calling?
• What further education did you pursue?
• How has what you learned at Calvin been helpful to you?
• If given the chance, what would you do differently?
• What advice would you give to grads interested in your field?
• Did any specific individuals help shape your career?
