Also beginning this month, the president's office is sending his e-newsletter, "This Square Inch," which will be sent out 10 times a year at the beginning of the month, with a message from the president and update from the college. Students researched the Olympics on a recent Calvin semester abroad in York, England, the location of one of Calvin's 14 off-campus semester programs.

Some upcoming events for alumni and friends are the 43rd Annual Golf Tournament and the "Calvin Around Town" event at the brand new John Ball Zoo funicular and tree house.
Many alumni networks will be participating in StreetFest International 2012, continuing the Calvin tradition of "serving to learn and learning to serve."
