John Calvin's 500th Birthday coming up!

The Calvin community is invited to the annual campus celebration of John Calvin's birthday. Along with cake, punch, and singing "Happy Birthday," there will be a special John Calvin birthday video and all will have a chance to sing a hymn written by Calvin himself. The party will take place at 10:00 AM on Friday July 10, 2009, at the Hoogenboom Health & Recreation Center in the Spoelhof Fieldhouse Complex.

After the birthday party, be sure to stop by the Meeter Center on the 4th floor of the library to see Calvin displays and items from the rare books collection!  And, in the meanwhile, visit the Calvin 500 Web site sponsored by the H. H. Meeter Center for Calvin Studies housed in the Hekman Library on campus.
