Renew your voice and your spirit in a choral retreat with Pearl Shangkuan and the Calvin Alumni Choir on Saturday, October 11, 2008 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Calvin College Chapel. For choir directors and choir singers, you'll spend the morning in a rehearsal setting filled with vocal and rehearsal techniques, and sprinkled with food for the spirit. The retreat ends with a short midday worship service using the music learned in the morning and is open to the public. Don't miss this opportunity to work with a nationally sought-after guest conductor and clinician and a nationally-known choir!
