For maximum consideration, U.S. financial aid forms are due by February 15. This is not a hard and fast deadline but it's the optimal date for maximum consideration.
Upon admission to Calvin you are automatically considered for Calvin's academic scholarships—no further application is required for most Calvin scholarships.

Calvin is part of NCAA Division III and is unable to offer scholarships based on athletics. We look to recruit students who are not only talented athletes, but who will embrace the student-athlete experience and become contributing members of the vibrant, Christian communitypresent at Calvin.
The following academic scholarships range from $1,000 to $15,000 and are renewable for up to four years. Students are automatically considered for these awards after they are admitted to Calvin.
Endowed Scholarships
Calvin offers 1,200+ endowed scholarships to students, 200 of which are available to first-year students (400 total awards). Some of these scholarships may require an application. Search and apply for these scholarships using Calvin's Scholarship Search.
Families of all circumstances and income levels can and do receive financial aid at Calvin. 92% of students receive aid in the form of scholarships, grants and loans. More than 60% of Calvin students receive need-based financial aid; the average financial aid package offered in 2011-2012 was $17,500.
In addition to the required FAFSA (en español), Calvin gives families the option to fill out the Calvin Supplemental Aid form. This form gives you the opportunity to more carefully and completely communicate additional financial circumstances that may increase your aid eligibility.
